Adjustable guide channel
X-FILES features a guide channel that can be adjusted down to the millimetre entirely by way of the SPS keyboard, a Top Automazioni patent. The guide channel is entirely made of vulcanised plastic. The material bars are dipped in an oil bath while processing.

External steady block Ø20 mm
Upon request, we can mount an additional steady block, suitable for smaller diameters, to the bar feeder magazine: This mechanism is automatically activated for all diameters up to 20 mm and it is intended to provide additional support for the material bar.

Steady block for processing hexagonal material bars
We give customers who process high volumes of hexagonal material bars the option to have the appropriate steady block mounted onto the unit. This allows for better hold thanks to its round cross section. This is precisely cut to ensure it is suitable for hexagonal material bars.

Handling remnants
X FILES offer two options in this regard:
1. Remnant extraction at the back performed by means of a self-centring non-adjustable extractor.
2. Ejection at the front

Transport system
While there may be no need for reducers in the spindle, the bar-loading magazine does feature a transport system at the back of the lathe. This can be for axial or radial displacement (depending on the customer’s preference) by approx. 800 mm.

Magazine
X-FILES can be fitted with 3 different magazine types:
1. A top single-level magazine with a 250 mm contact surface.
2. 3-level multi-tier magazine, each with a 300 mm contact surface and a total contact surface of approx. 1 m
3. Bottom magazine with a contact surface and lifting fork of 500 mm.

Guide channel
Record has a guide channel with interchangeable guides. These can be interchanged in no time, according to the diameter of the bar to be processed. The guides with a U-shaped cross section are made of vulcanised plastic. These are perfect for high rod-processing speeds.
